Make My Picture
The “Make My Picture” series evokes the nostalgia of creating as a child; the searching, the curiosity, the immediacy, and the freedom.
The idea for the series emerged during a scene in a Little Richard documentary where he candidly told a photographer, “Make my picture!”
This project is about paying homage to human beings and their humanity. As an artist I have become dedicated to releasing inhibition (instead of fixating on making mistakes), and giving in to the medium in pursuit of a body of work that is raw and an artistic voice that is authentic.
